1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Email address: Only if you create an email-based account.
- Account credentials: Passwords are stored only as salted, one-way hashes.
If you create a passkey, we store its public key and usage counter; the private
key remains with your credential provider.
- Voice samples: Only if you use voice cloning. Samples are captured locally
and uploaded to Inworld AI when you submit a cloning request so that Inworld
can create and host the requested voice model.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Random install identifier: A random token generated when you first install the App (it is not derived from your Android device ID or any hardware identifier, and it resets if you reinstall). It holds your anonymous trial and credit balance until you sign in. After you sign in, your account is identified by your email instead.
- Usage data: Session duration and approximate character count for billing and analytics.
- Abuse-prevention data: We temporarily store one-way hashes derived from IP
addresses and email addresses in fixed time windows to limit automated login,
signup, verification, and password-reset abuse.
- Audio recordings: When using online translation, audio is transmitted to Inworld AI for processing. We do not store audio or transcripts on our servers beyond the time needed to process each translation.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Sign-In
- If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID (sub claim) and verified email address.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve translation services
- To track credit usage and prevent abuse
- To process payments through Google Play
- To communicate with you about service changes or support requests
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Inworld AI: Audio is processed by Inworld AI for speech-to-text,
translation, text-to-speech, and—if you choose it—voice cloning. Their privacy
policy applies to data they process: https://www.inworld.ai/privacy.
- Google Play: Payment processing is handled by Google Play, governed by their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: Account data is stored in Cloudflare D1, and Cloudflare Email
Service sends requested verification and password-reset messages.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- On-device data: Saved conversations, phrasebook entries, and pending voice
samples are stored locally on your device. Voice models created through the
optional cloning feature are hosted by Inworld AI. You can delete local data
and request deletion of a cloned voice from within the app.
- Server data: Account information (random install identifier, email once you sign in, password hash, passkey public keys, credit balance, and session metadata) is stored on Cloudflare D1. Verification/reset codes are short-lived, single-use, and stored as hashes. We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, credentials, credit balance, session history, purchase records, referral code, and referral relationships.
5. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at: justyap@trenty.org
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
